Yelda Anwari is a Barrister and Solicitor in Toronto, Ontario. She attended the University of Calgary where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society. After completing her undergraduate studies, Yelda continued her studies at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC where she then obtained her Juris Doctor. After graduating law school, Yelda relocated to Toronto, ON where she then completed her articles with Grice &Associates. Yelda was called to the Ontario Bar in September of 2019 and continues to be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
Yelda’s practice focuses exclusively in the area of Canadian immigration and refugee law. She has successfully represented her clients at the Immigration and Refugee Board along with the Federal Court. She also works with clients seeking permanent residency, pre-removal risk assessments, humanitarian and compassionate protection applications, spousal sponsorships, and has also represented clients who have been subject to removal orders.
